What this site is

magiccarpetky.com is run by Magic Carpet Cleaning, LLC of Lexington, Kentucky. It exists to tell you what we do, how we do it, and how to reach us. Using it means you're alright with what's on this page.

Prices and estimates

Nothing on this site is a binding quote. Every job is different — the size of the rooms, the fibre, how long a stain has been sitting there — so the only real price is the one we give you after we've looked at the work, and that one is free and has no obligation attached. Once we've quoted you a job, the price we quoted is the price you pay; we don't add anything at the door.

Our cost guide and the other articles here describe typical ranges in Central Kentucky to help you judge whether a quote is fair. They're honest ballparks, not offers.

The advice on these pages

The articles about dry times, pet odour, and flooded carpet come from how we actually work, and we've tried hard to keep them accurate. They're still general guidance about a trade where every house is different. They aren't a substitute for someone looking at your particular floor, and they aren't professional advice about water damage, mould, insurance claims, or health. If you have water down and a real problem, call somebody — us or anyone else — rather than working off a web page.

Follow the DIY steps here at your own judgement. We can't be responsible for a floor we've never seen.

Booking the actual work

Work gets booked by phone, and the terms of the job itself — what we're cleaning, what it costs, when we're coming, our guarantee — are what we agree with you directly at the time. Those terms govern the work. This page governs the website.

Reviews you send us

If you use the review form, keep it honest and keep it yours. By sending one you're telling us it's your own experience as a real customer, and you're giving us permission to publish it on this site with the name you gave, possibly trimmed for length. We don't publish everything: we leave out anything abusive, anything about a third party, anything that looks planted, and anything that isn't from a customer. We don't pay for reviews and we don't write them ourselves. Want yours taken down later? Call us.

Photos, words, and the logo

The photographs on this site are of our own vans, our own equipment, and real jobs we've done. Those, along with the writing and the Magic Carpet name and oval, belong to us. Please don't reuse them for another cleaning business.

Where we link somewhere else, or where the service-area map loads from Google, we're not responsible for what's on the other end of it.

Where we stand on liability

We keep this site accurate and running, but we can't promise it will never be down or never contain a mistake. To the extent Kentucky law allows, we aren't liable for losses arising from using the website itself. That limit is about the website. It does not touch our responsibility for the cleaning work we do in your home — we are licensed and insured, and we stand behind the job.

Governing law

Kentucky law governs these terms, and the courts of Fayette County, Kentucky are the place for any dispute about them.

Changes

If we change this page we'll change the date at the top.
